You know the drill everyone, its free calendar time and this one's is filled with very cute penguins! Download it here and hang it up for the month ahead! 
There's plenty going on in Durbs this month so let's get right into it: 
01 July - The month kicks off well with the Wonder Market taking place in Chris Saunders Park, opposite Gateway Shopping Centre. Head down there for a selection of crafts, food and general goods. The market is from 9am to 3pm and entrance is free. 
02 - 08 July - The sleepy town of Ballito is going to be invaded with surfing stars from around the world for the Mr Price Pro. Expect to see top class surfing , free concerts and a lifestyle festival. Check out Mr Price Pro for details about the competition as well as the concert line-up (it looks promising with bands like Gangs of Ballet, Wonderboom, Shadow Club, aKing, Goodluck and Flash Republic).
04 - 07 July - Contemporary Dance fans are in for a treat when Inhale/Exhale hits the stage at the Elizabeth Sneddon Theatre. The show combines the technical brilliance of the the iKapa Dance Theatre and the live music of African Explosive. The show starts at 8pm and tickets are between R50 - R100 per person. 
05 - 08 July - The Umhlanga Winter Carnival promises to be a few days of fun with daily activities for beach-goers from 10am to 2pm. There is also a Winter Trail Run and Walk on the 8th, starting at 6.30am - perfect for the morning sunrise! Check out Umhlanga Tourism for more information. 
06 July - Support the Sharks as they take on the Bulls in the Super 15. Tickets are available at Computicket and cost R98 per person. Kick-off is at 7.10pm. 
06 July - If rugby isn't quite your thing, then head to the Wavehouse in Gateway to see the Pre-Vodacom Durban July Fashion Show. Entrance is free and it starts at 3pm, with the concert starting at 8pm. 
07 July - Who could ignore the biggest event in July? The Vodacom Durban July always promises to be a fun day. So dress up, bet on some horses and have a grand old time! Find out all you need to know here
07 July - The ever faithful I Heart Market will be up and running at the Moses Mabhida Stadium as usual - head there for yummy food and hand-crafted goodness! 
14 July - If the first Sharks game of July wasn't enough, watch them take on the Cheetahs next. Computicket will have all the details. 
19 July - 29 July - The Durban International Film Festival is hosted by the Elizabeth Sneddon Theatre and celebrates its 33rd edition this year. The country's longest and largest International Film Festival will present 250 screenings of the latest contemporary world cinema. The full program will be announced shortly, so check here for updates. 
27 July - 29 July - The Taste of Durban takes place at Suncoast Casino and is the ultimate culinary event of the year. Over three days this international pop up restaurant festival will bring the city's most acclaimed restaurants together for foodies to enjoy! Entrance is R80 and includes a tasting glass.
