They are a couple who first met in Durban, and have been together ever since. They both share a love of old, vintage items and uncovering someone's forgotten pieces. Their jewellery business involves taking old, antique cutlery and recycling it in order to make a unique piece of jewellery that will be sentimental to someone else.
And now Ryan and Liesa have expanded their business into the retail world. One morning Ryan work up with an idea that changed their futures, and together they decided to start a shop where they could represent the crafter, selling their items at their prices and on their behalf. Rollin Vintage & Friends was born out of the desire to give South African crafters the best service and value for money. This shop grew out of the appreciation for proudly South African, hand-crafted and recycled goods.

Their shop opened on the 1st June 2012, with its premises based in Howick. They source genuine South African hand-crafted products, as well as stocking their own gorgeous antique jewellery. Some of the hand-crafters they stock are Ochre Jewellery, Almost Antiques, Fisticuffs, LLK Designs, Ruri's Garb, Pearls for Girls, Jen Jen Designs, and Elbows up. Isn't their shop just goregous?? We love the way they have decorated it, so innovative and different for the South African market.

Liesa and Ryan designed and made up the shop themselves, deciding on a recycled, vintage look and feel. Using pallets, crates and antiques, such as suitcases, a Victorian chair and an old radio, they have kitted out the shop beautifully - as can be seen from these photographs.
