Geometric patterns are making their way into every nook and cranny of home decor that we've laid our eyes on lately. We love the ordered feel of this pattern and how its order allows you to be repetitive when using it. You can wallpaper an entire wall in this pattern and it doesn't feel overwhelming or overdone, and that's what's great about it.
You can bring this pattern into your own personal space by adding in geometric accent pieces. Cushions, throws or even a few simple framed artworks are a great way of reviving your interior and adding in a little spark. We are particularly in love with Ferm Living's Autumn catalogue - it's a plethora of geometric design that is effortless and chic. With a subtle colour palette of grey, mustard, off whites and blues, we can't fault it. See the catalogue here. .
If budget is a bit of a problem (and we know it can be!), then why not create a few geometric works of art for yourself? We've hand-picked two of our favourite geometric print DIY's for you to try out. We love this simple and striking piece seen on How About Orange. This is super budget friendly as all it requires is your handy work, an old frame and some paint chip samples. You can get a range of paint chip samples at any DIY or paint store - so head out, pick the colours you like, and get crafting.

This is another simple DIY that is super effective. All you need for this is some origami paper squares (found at any local craft stores) in a colour palette of your choice. You can also just get any paper you like and cut it into squares before starting. This installation is great to put on a small section of wall, like above your bedside tables, or in a little nook where you have a table or bookshelf. We love its simplicity, and you can even stick the squares on with prestick if you want - how simple! See the full DIY here.
