Call it Spring - {Shop Launch}

Have we ever mentioned to you how much we LOVE hearing about new stores opening up in South Africa? We especially love how lucky South Africa has been lately with the opening of Zara, CottonOn and Lovisa stores this year - and in Durban nogal! Well, we have that loving feeling and it's all because of Call It Spring a new store that recently opened in Gateway (opposite Vida).
Part of the ALDO group, Call It Spring is a shoe store for men and women and they sell handbags and some accessories too. Shoes range from R210 for basic sandals and pumps, to R400 for heels and wedges. Not too bad hey? They stock all the latest, trendiest styles in both men's and women's shoes and they a good basic selection of handbags and clutches. Here's what they have to say about themselves:
"Drawing inspiration from the streets, the culture and of course, the trade and runway shows, our product developers delve into the world’s fashion capitals and their individual fashion trends wholeheartedly. Working up to a year in advance, our product developers are always ahead of the game, making it their mission to know what’s next"
We love how this store brands itself - they evoke just the right amount of cool hipster to get anyone interested in walking inside the store. The branding is clean, with large picture lightboxes styled impeccably. We especially love love love their Spring 2013 collection video - its cool, unassuming and oh-so-smart. Base your look book on a movie? Yes please. Check it out below.
Call it Spring has opened up stores in Johannesburg (Menlyn Park and Cresta), Cape Town (Canal Walk) and now in Gateway, Durban. See their website here and follow them on Facebook, Twitter and Pinterest. Happy shopping Rubies!
