Calligraphy Inspired Stationery {On Trend}

We love staying in the loop on what is current and fashionable with anything wedding related. One such trend that we've seen recurring time and time again is the use of calligraphy in wedding stationery suites. Sometimes the entire suite is done in calligraphy and other times it's just the outer envelope or a small portion of the invitation. We love the handmade intricacy of this look, and its quirky one-of-a-kind nature. It's elegant, timeless and so pretty!
// There's something magical about bold, strong one-colour calligraphy on rustic brown kraft paper like these invites. We especially love the white on kraft. Simple and effective.
// Calligraphy comes in all styles and tones - just like this conservative, 'neat' calligraphy. We think the navy blue is a perfect pairing for this particular style. Doesn't it just ooze sophistication?
// This over-curly calligraphy is particular popular, especially when paired with colour botanical inspired stationery. We love the brave pop of Tiffany blue!
// Calligraphy looks great when its juxtaposed with a strong bold font. It really makes it the star of the show. We adore the simple gold foil confetti in the corner too. Classy with a touch of whimsy.
// You don't get more intense calligraphy than this invitation. This might be a bit much for the faint hearted, but if its pomp and dramatics that you're after, that style is just for you.
// We love the hand-written quality of this save the date - it reminds us of a love letter that you would pass around class at school. Romantic and fun. The chipboard substrate brings it right on trend too.
// Yet another way of bring calligraphy into your suite, but with a pop of colour. While most calligraphy is either in black or white, adding varying tones of colour makes it contemporary and edgy.
// And who could resist the mottled 'coffee stain' effect of these gorgeous invites. They have just the right amount of calligraphy to make the bride and groom the star. Doesn't this invite just feel like a rainy day, curled up with a book on the couch? Well that's the feeling we get, anyway! :)
