Engagement Story: Derrick + Kerryn

It's really wonderful to be able to work with a couple from the beginning and share in the full circle process of planning a wedding. Keryn and Derrick are one of these couples. Last year we designed their modern city wedding invitations as well a host of other stationery for their wedding. Keryn is a dream to work with - patient, specific with what she wants and just generally a friendly and genuine person. We loved working with them and now we're so happy to share their engagement shoot snaps with you. We'll be featuring their wedding too, so stay tuned for that!

THE BASICS:

The Couple: Keryn Wells & Derrick Colyn
Engagement Date: 2 July 2011

THE DETAILS:

How did he propose?
We had such a special weekend together! We stayed at a fabulous self catering resort in Champagne Castle. A log fire, dinner, champagne and rose petals all set the scene for Derrick's proposal under the stars.
Tell us about the ring!
It is beautiful and what I always wanted. Inspired by the antique look of the Edwardian Collection from Jack Friedman jewellers, we gave a brief to Richard Silverthorne at Richard Francis Jewellers and he made it for us.

What was your wedding date?
29 September 2012
