The NWJ Bridal Show 2013 {High-Lights}

We had another great year at the NWJ this past Saturday. It's hard to believe that we were there last year when our blog was less than a month old! So much has happened since then!
The NWJ 2013 was no less than spectacular this year and there were some old and some new faces. Seeing familiar faces at the fair reminds us how much work and effort must go into creating an amazing and different display several times a year. So a hearty congrats must go out to all vendors and suppliers!
We saw some great decor ideas with the dominating trend speaking to farmhouse, whimsical and vintage inspired items. We loved the chalkboard name place mats by Vanilla House (they are available to hire), along with their wooden rustic display of aloe's and silver jars. We loved the idea of wooden engraved hearts - perfect to double up as a favour and name place setting. And these were a steal at only R10 each. We also loved the stall done by Pairtree (business card pictured) who were so creative with Washi tape, a craze that we're happy to see finally landing in South Africa.
If you want inspiration, the NWJ is the place to go. We will be featuring specific stalls and businesses a bit more closely in the next coming weeks, so stay tuned if you would like to get to know some great Durban vendors in the wedding industry.

And just like that another NWJ has passed us by. We already can't wait for the next show!
