Ever since we saw this dress on The Pretty Blog, we have been following the work of Cape Town based brand Elbeth Gillis closely. Founded in 1997, Elbeth Gillis produces a range of bridal and evening couture. We love the dreamy, old-world glamour of their 2014 Bridal collection. Intricate lace, sweeping trains and open backs are some of the looks in a collection "inspired by the opulent glamour of days gone by... a celebration of sophisticated femininity." This impressive collection features imported fabrics including Indian silk and lace from Spain and France. Take a look at our favourites from the collection:
Zelda Dress: Soft mermaid silhouette with embroidered shoulder and waist detailing. Crafted from Spanish lace.
Leia Dress: Duchess satin gown with tulle shoulder straps and Chantilly lace overlay, tulle inserts in the
skirt and Swarovski crystal embellishments under the bust and straps.
Jennifer Dress: A-line gown with a croset style bodice in guipure lace, cascading down onto a silk chiffon skirt. Features delicate pearl beadwork and a ribbon sash.
Edith Dress: Low back gown in satin crepe with delicate Chantilly lace overlay, V-neck with capped sleeves and embellished with shimmering Swarovski crystals.
