Hello yellow!

Yellow Pantone 109C is the 'it' colour of the year. With our beloved Cape Town being the World Design Capital of 2014, the local design community is literally painting the town yellow. Just one look into the city shows this... the newly painted yellow clock tower at the V&A Waterfront in Cape Town; Plascon creating a colour called "Cape Town Yellow" in it's honour; or shops on Bree Street like Skinny laMinx allowing the hue to take over their stores. 

Throughout this year there will be over 450 recognised projects in honour of this, and the city was chosen because of it's use of design in social, cultural and economic development.
