Stationery fetish alert! Recently a friend went on holiday to Cape Town, and came back with a beautiful gift for me (Kim): a notebook from Typo. Here at Ruby & the Swallow, we just LOVE any type of stationery, so we thought we'd tell you a bit about this awesome store.
Cotton On is not open in Durban yet *sigh*, but they do have stores in Cape Town and Joburg. One of the coolest things about this Aussie store is that they don't just sell clothes, but they have a stationery brand too called Typo. Recently, a dedicated Typo shop opened in Canal Walk in Cape Town - we really wish we could be transported there, just for the day, as that place is a stationery lover's dream! They stock journals, diaries, purses, notebooks, iPad covers, wrapping, gift tags, tech accessories and loads, loads more.
I can't wait to start using my new Typo notebook. Isn't it just too beautiful? It has these useful Kraft card pocket dividers to store stuff.
So next time you're in Cape Town or Joburg, stop by a Cotton-On or dedicated Typo store - you won't regret it. Or if any fairy-godmother's are reading this right now... we'd love a Typo in Gateway, pretty pretty please?
